Blushing in Pink at the Central Park
Yes, Sydney has a Central Park too but not in acres and acres of land for exploration but an urban space occupied mostly by a mall and an outdoor area for leisure purposes. It's located right in the heart of the city, very close to Central station and next door to a known university. How could I miss this building when it was a block away from my old work? But it wasn't a popular hang-out spot back then and fast forward to today surely nobody will miss this eco-friendly edifice. From the distance one will be able to spot it because of its unique appearance with lots of green plants and ferns hanging from all four sides.

Blue Cropped Jeans
I'm back again with another embroidered item but this time in jeans. I haven't purchased jeans for quite sometime because when I do I make sure it's not something similar to what I had in my pile of jeans. I can honestly say, I haven't met a pair of jeans that I didn't like :). And this recent one I got from Rosegal ticks the boxes, with pretty embroidery details, nice blue shade and comfortable which is the most important of all.

Block Solid Colours
Had I not blog about this I wouldn't have noticed that there are only 4 dominant colours in these pictures and these are grey, blue, black and white. Just exactly what I was wearing too. And these are the same colours that resemble winter for me. I didn't really plan to wear this outfit but this was the most comfortable ensemble that I grabbed that day I took my sis to Darling Harbour. I didn't know I would match perfectly with the buildings and the surroundings of the area.

Embroidered Bomber Jacket and Shorts
Ok, here I am again with my scored embroidered pieces but this time the whole look is courtesy from Zaful. I hope this trend wouldn't slow down yet as I still enjoy rocking in them. While the jacket and shorts were separates I made sure the embroidered figures are similar and of the same colour. That way it won't clash and give a cluttered look.

Vivid Sydney 2017
I know I'm late with my post this week, it was a long weekend and my family and I went in and out of town. Spending time with them was priceless though I'm out of budget now I'm still glad I've made several photo shoots for the blog. One of the events we went was Vivid Sydney which is occurring for 3 weeks during winter in the central part of the city.

Fruit Picking in the Orchard
My sis from overseas is visiting and one of her bucket list is to pick apples from the orchard. So we went to Bilpin last Saturday which is a 2 hour-drive west of Sydney to pick not only apples red and green but also oranges and mandarin. Unfortunately, the oranges were not yet ready and the mandarin is in another location but I was happy enough to be able to come out of my normal Saturday routine.

Rose Embroidery
Obviously, I'm going crazy with embroidery trend and there's no sign of stopping. I've had so many floral pieces I showcased in my blog already but let me add this rose embroidered mini skirt to my list. Embroidery designs are large, high-contrast and often multi-coloured, hence, they are not limited to a single colour. There is nothing subtle about this trend, it is designed for maximum impact.

See Through Lace Trend
Perhaps the most risqué trend for the year is the see-through lace but is also the prettiest when done properly. You see, lace can be edgy. When paired with certain fabrics, colours and styles, you can transform lace into a piece of fashion with attitude. And more when the style is one of the hottest trends at the moment.

Boho Chic
I think there's a bit of bohemian in all of us. I denied it at first but I realised I owned several bohemian pieces without acknowledging I was drawn to it. It might be the paisley, floral or animal prints in the fabric or the exotic embellishment, tassel or fringe in the outfit, there's something about them that draws you in.

The Oversized Shirt
I was always the one who shied away from oversized clothing, I felt like I look like a dwarf when I wear one. Now that the oversized trend is going on, I tried once again how I look like in this cream coloured hoodie for a start. But I like it, not bad at all especially because of this eyelet lace-up shoulder detail.

Cafe by the Sea
I've been wanting to have brunch in Celcius Coffee since I saw their yummy goodness loaded waffle in Instagram. Then one fine day my waffle dream came true, thanks to my niece and nephew who demanded me to get up early on a Saturday (whew!). You see, on Saturdays I get out of bed at 11am to make up for the loss of sleep during the week so this café must be worth it to be awake as early as 8 to get ready. What??? All for the waffles!

Day Trip to the Hunter Valley
For a wine, cheese and chocolate connoisseur whenever you're in Sydney head to Hunter Valley and you'll be greeted with the finest selection. For a 2 hour drive north of Sydney this is a must to visit for travellers and locals alike. While I'm not a wine collector (hubby is) I would surely vouch for the rare selection of chocolates while my kids would go for the cheese variety. Not only for these items this place tops but also for the lush greenery, laid back lifestyle as well as superb restaurants and wonderful adventures.

Festival Ready in Bohemian Lace Dress
Ok, I've never been to Coachella but if I go this would be the dress that I would rock. I believe the festival is going on this week and yea I can only ogle at the cute bohemian outfits that I find. While there are no rules on what to wear when attending music festivals, I still prefer something that is so boho, edgy and fun. So if you don't go, Coachella will come to you.

Going Neutrals
My favourite colour is red not just any red but rich and deep red just like what I wore on my previous post. It's not only because I'm attracted to it but I get more compliments when I wear this colour, see my Instagram for the comments haha. But now I know why and it's because I look better in warm tones as opposed to cool as my veins appear to be more green than blue. And that makes me belong to the warm colour family. So I would aim for rich reds, browns, rust, and the warm neutrals like camel, beige and ivory.

Red Embroidered Lace Dress
If there's one abundant kind of clothing in my wardrobe it would be the lace dress. I sure have them in different colours though I can only wear it mostly on the warmer days. Last week I wore this deep red contrast embroidered dress with lace. Hubby my photog and I celebrated our anniversary and I thought this would be the cutest dress without even trying. On our way to dinner we spotted this quaint house with white fence overflowing of white roses. Though we're 5 minutes late we got to stop, that moment had to be captured.

Autumn Looks
There is no other colour that screams Autumn than the olive green or khaki, whichever you call it that same colour that makes up the utilitarian look. It is a huge colour for Fall probably because it emphasizes the warm rich hues that we associate with that time of year and the colours that change in nature. So in my ode to Autumn, I wore one eyelet dark green shoes paired with two different outfits that both have an Autumn-y feel.

Picnic at the Beach
This picnic was long overdue and even if it's a month past my birthday and is already Autumn my family still went to the beach for my birthday celebration. It wasn't a sizzling day unlike the one we had last year but it was still sort of good day with a bit of drizzle. I'm actually lucky my sis and my nieces love going outdoors so my picnic accessories didn't go to waste. I was thinking of a pineapple theme but with a limited time flat laying and snapping I just have to make do of what I got. Stay and see what happened :)

Bold Blossoms at the Beach
If there's one trend that seems to never go away year in year out it is the floral prints. And this year it's even getting bolder and some with a little bit of sheer. When I got this black sheer long dress with bold blossoms from Nastydress late last year I was so ecstatic only that I couldn't wear it right then because it's freaking hot down under.

Random Facts + Liebster Award
Ok, here it is. It took me long to post this as I was hesitating that nobody really wants to know :) But it's a nice feeling being thought by a fellow blogger and got nominated for Liebster award. Besides, it's fun to answer them. I hope you will read through it.
But I will also show photos of how my day went yesterday with the boys. Had awesome time at the mall, eating Asian food and ice cream. I guess I have all the excuses to eat ice cream these days since everyday is a scorcher. I wore a white frill top from my favourite Atmos&Here and stripes shorts. Got to use my new Givenchy Antigona bag too.

Show Love on V-Day
It maybe strange but I can't feel we're living in the new year until February comes. My birthday is at the end of January and for me December and January are festive months, therefore, I felt like being in a holiday mode :) Though I've had my birthday cake already and got my flowers as seen in my Instagram I still have to celebrate my party outdoor which is usually in the beach. But the weather down under is crazy lately, the mercury reaches up to the 40s °C specifically on the weekends. So I haven't partied yet and barely done outfit shoots, hence, the reason for the delay of this post.

How to wear the Embellished Trend during the day
If you think the embellished trend is only glamorous at night time then think again :). Since this trend doesn't seem to go away I might as well showcase it here in my blog. I've been sporting this trend unknowingly since I got this top. I've worn it to work, to church and on a casual day at a friend's place. I've paired it with different bottoms though. Since the embellishment is only on the collar area it doesn't appear too loud. Yet, still it has be coordinated with the right lower half and accessories.

A White Day at the Beach
What we always look forward on the summer months are the outing activities we can do and the beach is surely the top destination. This time my family headed South to the third largest city in NSW. Wollongong is always dear to me as hubby and I frequented this place prior to having kids when visiting a place was purely a leisure and was only retained in the memory meaning back to the time I didn't take photos :)

Floral for Summer
If my previous post was lengthy this is completely the opposite :) Taken after I had my haircut, hence, I was still halfway drinking my beet juice, I think I looked stress-free haha. I honestly, didn't plan to shoot when I got home but I didn't want the perfect wave in my hair gone to waste without being captured in the camera.

Things to do in sunny Gold Coast
If there's one word I can describe the Gold Coast it is sunny. Whenever I come here even if it's not summer I can always wear playsuits and thongs. Queenland's Gold Coast has a sub-tropical climate with around 300 days of sunshine per year. Though I've never been in winter time yet it's still generally sunny and dry. Since I mostly come during the kids school summer holidays our bags only contained light clothing, swimmers and thongs except for me which I brought 4 pairs of shoes for photoshoot purposes :) So when we are staying on the Gold Coast here are the things we normally do on repeat.

Pom pom Sandals and Beach Throw @ Nastydress
One of the places that I miss on the Gold Coast which I wish I visited more is the beach. The first hotel where we stayed was in Surfers Paradise which is a seaside suburb and a major hub of Gold Coast. Colloquially known as 'Surfers', the suburb has many high-rise apartment buildings and a wide surf beach.
