Blue Jeans and Tweed Jacket

 

The first time I laid my eyes on this tweed jacket I felt my eyes were being glued. No matter how much I shrugged it off, I kept stealing glances until I gave in. Who cares about my weekly budget I thought, I would be more regretful if I pass it up. It would cost more actually if I will come back for it later, my time and my effort I think are priceless :) So I've convinced myself successfully.

First popularised by Coco Chanel in the early half of the 20th century, it wasn't until the '90s that the once prim-and-proper outerwear became cool and youthful. Pair this up with jeans and you definitely exude sexiness and charm.

 

This blue tweed jacket might not be Chanel (though my bag is) but it still looks pretty. The important factor to consider is that it should fit perfectly. I prefer a 3/4 sleeves and the hemline is just sitting right above my hips.  

 

 I wore this jacket when I took my mum and niece on their last day of shopping in Sydney. We swang by Town Hall area for this photo sesh. The Town Hall building is next to St. Andrew's Cathedral and as you can see the brown leaves near the cathedral were reflecting back into Town Hall building's windows. How cute :) 

 

After shopping in the nearby Queen Victoria Building we headed off to Devon Café. I had the ultimate toastie with loads of truffle and a bittersweet orange mocha. You might cringe on the pungent smell of truffle but the taste is just divine. I think this is the only intense smelling fungus that will ever come close to my mouth :)
