Things to do in sunny Gold Coast

Things to do in Gold CoastIf there's one word I can describe the Gold Coast it is sunny. Whenever I come here even if it's not summer I can always wear playsuits and thongs. Queenland's Gold Coast has a sub-tropical climate with around 300 days of sunshine per year. Though I've never been in winter time yet it's still generally sunny and dry. Since I mostly come during the kids school summer holidays our bags only contained light clothing, swimmers and thongs except for me which I brought 4 pairs of shoes for photoshoot purposes :)  So when we are staying on the Gold Coast here are the things we normally do on repeat.

Pom pom Sandals and Beach Throw @ Nastydress

One of the places that I miss on the Gold Coast which I wish I visited more is the beach. The first hotel where we stayed was in Surfers Paradise which is a seaside suburb and a major hub of Gold Coast. Colloquially known as 'Surfers', the suburb has many high-rise apartment buildings and a wide surf beach.

New Year's Greetings from Palazzo Versace

So just like that, 2016 is waving goodbye and now we're ringing in the new year. ls there anything you wish you would have done and achieved before this year ended? Don't fret, you're not the only one. I too would like to do so many tasks but surprise surprise there was so little time. One thing for sure, as long as the sun rises we can be full of hope to accomplish those dreams that are left unattained. So 2017 will be the year for that, hopefully for me too.

Warm Christmas Cheer from Down Under

What to wear to Christmas dinnerHow is it that 1 more sleep and it's Christmas already? Not that I don't like it, it's my most favourite time of the year. The festive atmosphere, the cheer in the air and the love around is overwhelming. I did my last minute Christmas shopping and Sydney was just full of shoppers, I could barely moved. And now I'm broke haha. Not from the Christmas presents but from my holiday in Gold Coast, the kids were just high maintenance ;-))
