As I've covered the 2 famous harbours of Sydney in my previous posts, now I will show the places to hang around in the metro. I'm in the wandering mood as of the moment since my niece is visiting so you can practically see me in different places often times than normal. In here, I pretty much acted like a visitor to my own city. Hey, what's not to love about it, Sydney is beautiful to sight see. Take note, these locations can be covered in one day depending how fast you stroll and how easily you get bored and move to the next. So here goes the list.
The high and mighty Sydney Centrepoint Tower |
Pitt Street Mall Australia's busiest and most cosmopolitan shopping precinct in the heart of Sydney boasting retail centres Myer, David Jones, Glasshouse, Sydney Arcade, Westfield Sydney, Mid City Shopping Centre and The Strand Arcade. This is where I go for my lunch break every Friday looking out for the next outfit/bag to blog in my favourite shops from Zara, Sportsgirl to Chanel and Gucci. Literally, in the middle of Pitt Street where you can see on the northern end the Sydney Harbour bridge.

For our lunch we went up to 360 Dining bar in the Centrepoint tower which is Sydney's tallest structure. There is an observation deck further up but we're happy to munch on food while enjoying the 360 degree views of the city.
Hyde Park |
St. Mary's Cathedral in the lower centre and part of Sydney harbour in the upper left |
Darling Harbour - can you spot the ferris wheel? |
Martin Place considered as the pedestrian mall and home to the major banks, it is also the centre of business and finance. It has a large collection of buildings of various styles, from neo-classical to contemporary.
For our afternoon tea, we went to Lindt café the site of the tragic events that happened on December 2014.
Upon entering you will be bedazzled by the row upon row of chocolates and other confectioneries where we got served the richest mocha and chocolate platter.
Queen Victoria Building it is the Victorian period architecture that makes your jaw drop upon taking in the grand sight of the stately old building. But it is more notable for its several domes on the rooftop and stained glass windows.
It is consists of four main shopping floors, I normally come here when I want to shop for some unique pieces. The top floor where we took photos from is where the restaurants located. But cafes are found everywhere in the aisles of each floor.
I shall come back here for the delectable afternoon tea in the Tea Room which is also upstairs. But for now a quick poses will do as High tea requires time.
Thank you for reading, 'til next post. For the meantime, you can connect me in Instagram busyandfab to see my fab finds, other outfits and events in between posts.
