Knitted Dress at Darling Harbour

Sydney has another harbour located in the Central Business District area though less popular than Sydney Harbour itself where the bridge and Opera House are. This second one I'm talking about is Darling Harbour and it's the home of the Sea Life Aquarium, Wax Museum and Australian National Maritime Museum among others.







Darling Harbour is a 10 minute walk from Town Hall station and if my mom is with me it could go up to 30 minutes no less. I don't go to this area much as it's out of way from my work but when I have visitors from overseas this is the second spot in the city that I'm proud to show off. You don't have to go inside the museum if it's not your thing but the cafes and restaurants here are a must to try. Trust me you can just sit in the benches or stay in the amusing children's park for the whole day but you must spend your break time in a restaurant. No, don't bring your own food, do yourself a favour and grab a bite from one of the cafes.

This knitted dress I wore was a snug fit and the right choice for the weather as it was a cold windy day. And for knitted clothes grey is just the perfect colour for it, don't you agree?

Who says you can't wear a piece of jewellery on a heavy clothing. I think this necklace added an edge and completed this rather plain outfit. Just like this Burberry bag that I've used on several occasions, a furry bag charm instantly made it stand out. But I guess Burberry is Burberry, it stands out no matter what.

So when you're in the city and never been in this side, give yourself a spin and maybe get a ride or two in the ferris wheel :)
