White Lace and Promises

You may wonder what is this about, how can a lace dress connect to promises? Such a strong word to incorporate with outfit and fashion :)

 To put it to rest, these photos were actually taken on our anniversary lunch. Yes, I say lunch because we also had an anniversary dinner. No, they were not done on the same day but because we are too busy to escape (from kids and everyday life :)) we have to celebrate it at different times. However short the times were but at least there's celebration and there's food, isn't that right? Well, anything for the food :)

 We had a seafood platter lunch because the restaurant that was located next to the bay prides themselves to have the freshest seafood in the area. It was indeed scrumptious but what I like the most was the water view.

  I got this lace dress from a small but trendy boutique near work. Somehow I like going to this kind of shop because I know that their designs are up-to-date and not mass produced.

 I wished for a sunny day but it started to drizzle when we went outside to take these photos. Perhaps the cloudy sky and the mist in the air added to the dreamy effect. Or maybe it's the white lace next to the bay sends the enigmatic feeling. Whatever it is, I like the outcome and the romantic feeler that was captured in the lens.

 

 I was glad to find this clutch waiting patiently for me to pick up and use one day, it just went well with everything. And would you believe these silver shoes were the same pair I used on my wedding day. Maybe I tried to preserve it or just didn't find the perfect outfit to wear with it.

 

I didn't plan to match my jewelleries with my dessert but it was just so cute to see my rubies next to my raspberry panna cotta, don't you think so?

One of hubby's promises to me (yea, I'm a big-mouth but it's not a secret) was to take quality outfit shots without complaining and indeed he started it with this one :)
