Beanies and Gloves

I am thankful that we don't have harsh winter down under but sometimes I also want to wrap myself up in some knitwear. I can actually get to do this in the early mornings and at night time but skip it during midday unless I want to toast myself. But for coordinated dressing up I am willing to compromise especially when I have beanies and gloves that completely rock the teddy look.

I wasn't really feeling so toasty in this outfit because of the short skirt. I prefer wearing mini skirts when I put on a knee-high boots just because it's more girly and fun.

 

 

Would you believe I got these cute jumpers, beanies and gloves on my last holiday in Manila where it feels like summer all year round? I think the shop caters more for shoppers who live abroad or those who are preparing for their overseas trip. It works well enough for me and to think I got them at a low price so there's nothing to complain about.



 

I told my photographer a.k.a. husband to shoot photos where it's lush and green so it looks like I'm really cold :) This was shot in my neighbourhood where there's no problem with shades and trees. And we kind of pull it off :)

 

This flower tree blossoms towards the end of winter and provides a good backdrop for photo op though it looks more summery than wintry. But magnolia flowers look like cherry blossoms from the distance so it's all good. All that is missing is a paper umbrella :)
