Good Day Bronte!

More on lace on lace ensemble and Sydney's rockpools :) This is one of the busiest ocean pools around because it's located close to the ever famous Bondi beach. So Bronte it is, no wonder we had a hard time finding parking. If you come to the eastern beaches make sure to go early and bring lots of sunblock lotion. I'm sure you will keep re-applying because you don't wanna leave :)

Palm Beach Birthday

I’m not over yet with my love affair with the beach, I know I was living in the beach almost everyday on my recent trip to the Philipiines. When I got back to Oz land, been beach bumming every week too. So here’s the first of my beach chronicles, hey tell me when you get sunburn from looking at my sunshiny posts from now on. Ok, but just let me be, pretty soon it will be Autumn down under and then I’ll start layering up and hibernating.

 

Happy Heart's Day!

Another red shirt day for me and a scorching one too literally in Sydney. Looked like we were not the only ones who had an idea of spending lunch time at the mall as the parking lot was full. You know, my boys actually don't trade their precious moment away from their computers to go to a restaurant just to eat and take pictures. If we can't get there fast then we better go to the next McDonalds :) But thank God after several spins we finally got our most awaited parking spot. So all's well that ends well.

A little sparkle on Valentine's Day

V-Day is here to come like it or not. While some people take it seriously (those newly in love especially), others can’t be bothered. For me, it’s a so so :).  Because I think you can celebrate love everyday especially if you are living in the same house with your significant other. Yet it can be extra special if you like to pamper your lovey or getting pampered back but don't expect too much to avoid frustration. Remember it's all about giving and spreading love and happiness :) This year it will be on a Sunday, what a great day for it, you have the whole Saturday to start with :)

Colours of the Year

Who would have thought I would really mind the colour of the year as what Pantone had decided for the year 2016? Not that people should really know about it but in fairness it actually helps fashion designers and many other consumer oriented companies design and plan for their future products. It is also a great tool for bloggers to create a palette of colours, well, in my case it made me unearth this dress with monochromatic shades of blue and this shawl with hues of pink. Aye, how cool is that?

Into the Blue at Crimson Resort

How can I leave Cebu without going to its beaches? Oh well, I didn’t this time as right after 2 nights of sleep at Radisson Blu we packed our bags again and headed to Mactan, the host island of Cebu’s finest resorts. Thus, we began our truly R&R experience in the Phils, another 2 nights in Crimson Resort and Spa would suffice our love for the beach as we thought. But not really as we embarked to our Boracay adventure after this stint in Crimson. But as I already blogged about my Boracay story in my previous post here, this Cebu resort is my post of the week. 

Lovin' Cebu

Stepping back in the Philippines after 3 years was a breath of fresh air, a warm air though even when it’s December. It’s the coolest temperature the country can offer and I always reiterated that it’s the best month to travel to the Phils. But I would change it to January now because of some low pressures we experienced that delayed our flights due to heavy rains. Being in Cebu was astonishing as it is although we got there at 1am the next day from our departure in Sydney. See the delay? But it was replaced with smiles when we were greeted by our young relos and friends who were patiently waiting for us in Radisson Blu Hotel lounge area.
